Meet the Cutter Family
Haley & Patrick Cutter, along with their two children, Colum (12) and Kinsley (10), have resided in Hingham since 2020. They previously resided in Boston and Chestnut Hill. Married for 15 years the couple met in High School in Nashua, New Hampshire and reconnected years later in New York City. The close family enjoys spending their summers in Harwichport sailing, swimming and golfing. In the winter as a family they spend their weekends skiing at Loon Mountain. Haley is a real estate broker running the Cutter Luxe Living Team. Patrick is also a realtor and is currently working in Downtown Boston at the new development Residences at Winthrop Center.
The Fire
On July 11, 2022 at approximately 12:50 p.m. Hingham firefighters responded to 4 Mann Street after receiving multiple calls of a house fire. One of the first calls came from Colum Cutter (11 at time of fire), who had spotted the fire from inside the home. He along with his babysitter alerted the painters working upstairs before making their escape. Thanks to Colum's bravery nobody was hurt in the massive fire that was seen in the skyline miles away. The Cutter's lost everything in their new home that they just moved into days before. From the ashes rose the incredible initiative of the Cut Fire Fund to help other families who have suffered losses from house fires.
